too much drinking.
No more alcohol until new year's eve. I need to take a look at my life soberly and then figure out if I still like it. If I still like it sober, then I can go back to drinking. If not, then I will resort to drinking as a coping mechanism.

Certainly. It is a well-known fact that you must, every New Year's Eve, party like it is 1999.
