R.E.M. Walk Unafraid

Everyone walks the same
Expecting me to step
The narrow path they've laid
They claim to
Walk unafraid
I'll be clumsy instead.

Richard Ascroft GOD IN NUMBERS

The more I learn of history the more I hate it
'Cos we're repeating things we did a thousand years ago
We're building palaces of fortune in the sky
There's an underclass dying whilst we smile

R.E.M. kicks ass. Skip's "Burlap Sack" was misguided. And Michael Stipe rules: he executive-produced "Being John Malkovich".

I like Richard Ashcroft, but he is a bit on the whiney side. And R.E.M., I think they were the third tape I ever bought. The first was Elvis Presley, and the second I'd rather not disclose.

Alright, it was Right Said Fred "I'm too Sexy". You may laugh now.

Bob Marley REDEMPTION SONG

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
Cause none of them can stop the time
How long shall they kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look
Some say it's just a part of it
We've got to fulfill the book
